Also known as the Machine God, his tech priests believe that all technological knowledge springs from his influence, and replace their limbs and organs with mechanical replicas in an attempt to emulate his divine vision. While the Imperial Cult reveres the Emperor as the savior of mankind by virtue of his wisdom, valor, and might, the Tech Priests revere him for his scientific genius, claiming him to be an avatar of their patron. Upon his mortal wounding at the hands of Horus, the tech priests believe he transcended his biological frailties to assume a form of sacred, synthetic immortality within the bosom of his Golden Throne. Others whisper that the true Omnissiah has yet to reveal himself, but slumbers near the heart of mankind, waiting for the hour when his kingdom of metal shall spread across the heavens once more.
