Karezza the Denier and Savayazae the Free

Description

Once little more than a rabid Khornate Berserker, the original name of the notorious slayer now known as Karezza the Denier has been lost to centuries of blood and wrath. Unlike most of his ilk, however, this madman's journey ended neither with his death nor ascension to daemonhood; instead, in an unthinkably shameful twist of fate, he was captured alive by a Dark Eldar raiding party. Offered as a a plaything for the Archon Savayazae, he was imprisoned and kept restrained by surgical tortures and toxic venom. Unable to fight or die, he was thus tormented for what seemed like an eternity by the merciless noble.
His eventual escape was not by his own design, but that of one of the Archon's own lieutenants, who sought to unleash the berserker upon their unsuspecting master and take her place. This plan was a foolish gambit; far from grateful, the Chaos Space Marine tore through the man like tissue paper, and after slaughtering his way through every other member of the archon's court, cornered the archon at last. However, despite the butcher's nails ticking in his brain having drowned all rational thought for as long as he could remember with the urge to kill, one drive had grown even stronger over the uncounted ages beneath her blades; a thirst to make his tormentor suffer as he had suffered. So great was his desire that he screamed to her and to all of Chaos that he would offer the entire Eldar race as a sacrifice if only her soul were granted to him alone.
To his awe, his prayers were answered. Slaanesh, the ancestral foe of the Eldar, was amused by this wish, especially from a servant of his divine adversary, Khorne. Thus, the god granted the Archon that one gift all their species craved but none dared hope for: release from Slaanesh's grasp, and the thirst for souls it demanded. Savayazae became a true immortal once more, but would pray for death every moment of every day. Unable to die, yet forever a prisoner, the berserker nailed the noble to his armor, a grisly display of his newfound devotion to Slaanesh. Though half mad from her endless suffering, the Archon retains just enough of her sanity to recognize her divine helplessness and hopelessness.
True to his oath, the berserker has spent centuries carving a swath through the forces of the Eldar, gathering fleets of Slaaneshi faithful to his side in his endless crusade. Karezza wields an elegant chainaxe entitled "Goremaiden," as a tribute to the blades Gorefather and Gorechild, the arms of his daemonic forefather Angron. Dark Eldar raiders have hounded him relentlessly to reclaim him as a prisoner, an unparalleled prize for the menagerie of any Archon. Yet greater still is their hatred of his prisoner, for though his armies sow death and doom upon their rancid civilization, no amount or devastation could ever shake the heart of a Dark Eldar quite as much as the unyielding, all-consuming jealousy they feel for Savayazae's freedom from their own inevitable damnation at the hands of the Prince of Pleasure. For her part, when capable of forming coherent sentences at all, the former Archon does nothing but beg Karezza to indulge in further assaults upon her people, in the vain hope that he may one day meet death, and with that, meet her own.

I've had this fellow rattling around in the back of my head for a while now. Though I could have probably come up with a more dynamic pose for him, I'm fairly pleased with the two Incubi he's battling. I also like the pauldron design; it's meant to be a Slaaneshi version of the standard World Eater's logo, using a beautiful Slaaneshi face consuming a globe, as opposed to the gnarled maw of a Khornate beast.
I always imagined Eldar blood as being more cherry-red and over-the-top than human blood would be; seemed like a better fit for their aesthetic. I imagine it dries into the sort of dim purple that Slaanesh considers a holy color; thus, Slaaneshi warriors would be as instinctively intimidating to Eldar forces as the crimson-hued armor of Khornate warriors is to Humans. (None of this is supported by canon, as far as I know; just blabbering about ideas that seemed personally appealing)
The name Karezza is based off a term for intentionally restraining from orgasm for as long a period as possible; seemed to fit. ;)
